Inception of the University

The university was officially started on 1st September 2019, as a Private – Public partnership, and is devoted to the educational interests and welfare of its Student members. The institution has contributed greatly to the development of Galmudug state. The university, in turn, has benefited much from its location, in the state's capital, Dhusmareeb, as well as, from the efforts of the state's diverse population. HUST University owes its origin to several developments and initiatives in higher education, within the country and the region.
