As Head of HUST Medical Education, professor Abdullahi is responsible for managing undergraduate, teaching and recruitment within the Division and Faculty through delegation to appropriate individuals and for developing and encouraging a research profile that position, as a leader in the delivery of innovative medical education. Dr Abdullahi is an interventional gastroenterologist with specialized expertise in gastrointestinal and endoscopy as well as complex pancreas and biliary disorders. He is part of a mutli-disciplinary team that incorporates the latest research and state of the art technology into a patient centered comprehensive care plan. He is active in clinical research and has been invited to present his work at several national and international conferences. Dr. Abdullahi (1995) Get his Masters degree in hospital management at Ryerson University and completed his Specialty in Gastro Entrology and Endoscopy at Turin University in 1991.Graduated (1982) from Somalia National University Faculty of Medicine. She will also be involved in research and serve as a mentor to residents and medical students.
